• Worked as assistant engineer by assisting Production Engineer in managing plant operation including monitoring, troubleshooting and problem solving.• Gained knowledge and experienced on how Propylene has been made from Propane using Dehydrogenation process.• Experienced in handling sample, taking structure round reading, assisting troubleshooting, calculating dosage and administrative work.• Assisted and contributed in Desludging & Dewatering Project 2022 and HYDROX Project.• Participated in an audit alongside a process engineer to identify compliance issues in Hot & Cold Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.• Created a comprehensive Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) video for the PDH plant, aimed at staff training.• Collaborated with a technician to conduct dew-point metering in the pipeline.• Contributed to an improvement project for Accidentally Oil Contaminated Drain (AOCD) by pinpointing AOCD points across over 150 Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and engaged in on-site line tracing with Technical Service Department (TSD) representatives.• Engaged in Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) initiatives with PDH technical advisors and contractors to address valve leakage issues.• Took part in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) efforts to investigate pump malfunctions.• Participated in Post-Incident Pre-Activity Safety Reviews (PASRs) led by a PASR leader.• Developed a PowerBI dashboard for the Operate Facility Work Process (OFWP) under the guidance of the PDH Work Process Leader.• Conducted reactor catalyst monitoring activities for a month, including examining catalyst samples and updating the catalyst break pills log sheet.• Supported the Spent Catalyst Export process at the PC MTBE catalyst yard by meticulously recording drum seal and tag numbers as they exited the yard and entered shipping containers.PETRONAS CHEMICAL MTBE SDN BHD (PDH PLANT)internship program20 February 2022 - 4 August 2022
