* In my role as a instrument engineer at a Pathetic Anhydride plant, I led a team of 7 personnel in tackling corrective maintenance and implementing preventive maintenance strategies.* Collaborated with cross-functional teams to design and optimise instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.* Led troubleshooting efforts for complex instrument and control system issues, minimising downtime by 20% and reducing maintenance costs by 10%.* Conducted comprehensive system testing and validation, utilising data analysis techniques to identify and resolve performance discrepancies, resulting in improved system reliability and accuracy.* Contributed to the commissioning and up gradation of critical systems: Played a key role in the commissioning and up gradation of Shin Nippon steam turbine system, air compressors, and the integration of solar systems along with DOP (dioctyl phthalate) plant instrumentation and controls commissioning ensuring seamless performance enhancements and cost-effective sustainability initiatives.

Worked for 14 months at 134MW thermal power generation facility as assistant electrical engineer. Daily duties consisted of parameters checking of various LV/MV switchgears, MCC's and transformers. Along with preventative maintenance jobs scheduling and participating in troubleshooting of electrical systems related problems with a team of electrical engineers and technicians. Reporting of zero inventory items to section head and job safety orientations to technicians were also part of the duty.

At NIMIR industrial chemicals ltd. I had hands-on experience with many different instrumentations and control devices which included different types of level switches, valves, sensors, etc, and gained knowledge regarding practical demonstration of these in the manufacturing of Soap noodles (from mixing of raw materials to preparing end products), Distilled Fatty Acid, Glycerin, Stearic Acid and caustic manufacturing, etc. I also learned about different types of maintenance (preventative, corrective, and predictive).

At Ibrahim Fibres ltd I had an in-depth experience in process industry along with all polymer utilities (Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, RO and Water Treatment Plants, Nitrogen Generation Plants, etc.) further I had hands-on experience with electrical utilities (LVDs, Transformers, MCC’s, DCS, etc.) as well as with electrical safety and control equipments such as VCB’s, ACB’s, PLC’s and DOL using SIMOCODE. At IGC there was an ocean of instrumentation and measurement devices which include but are not limited to pressure gauges, flow sensors (Coriolis Flow Meter, etc.), level sensors (capacitance level switch, etc.) lastly I observed there power generation plant of total capacity at the time of my internship there was 94.5 MW which used number of protections e.g. Earth fault relay and over and under frequency relay
