I am a passionate English teacher with over 6 years of experience. I started my journey as a freelance teacher, then moved to work at an international school. I have experience teaching many branches of the language like Literature, Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Writing; all alligned with California Common Core standards. Also, I have dealt with different curricula as Sadlier, Holt, Collection, and Wonders. Working as an ESL Instructor helped me with CELTA based skills such as using text-based, test-teach-test, jigsaw Reading, and understanding the basis for a successful, communicative, productive, and authentic activities for productive skills (speaking and writing).I am always keen to learn more about my career and seek out any chance available to grow as a teacher.As a plus: I am a freelance drawing instructor, and I frequently use my drawing skills in teaching as well.
