This an excellent position where we're able to step out of our comfort zone and improve our public speaking abilities. As a sales representative, the main responsibility is to completely understand and comprehend the area of dissatisfaction for the patient and provide them with the dental solutions that they require. This position has enabled me to improve my speaking skills and has improved and provided an impetus for the decision-making and negotiating skills that I possess. I'm faced with new challenges every day and have to keep on improving my knowledge and abilities to keep myself up to date with the changing needs of the patients in the Industry. An excellent journey so far, I will look to further improve and hone my skills in this position as I believe it has an effect on all walks of life be it professional or social.

I have gained the ability to become a team-player and person who leads from the front. Since, I was given the role by which I had to manage a small team, delegate daily tasks and communicate with the team so we can work towards our weekly targets. Since, I was responsible for organising rural tours and intra-city tours in our company. To explain, I was responsible for arranging the transport, accommodation, legal (visa) processes and tour guides to accompany them on the tours.I have enhanced my level of communication skills because in Baku, Azerbaijan (where our business is based) English isn't widely spoken. I was therefore faced with many situation where I wasn't able to communicate to our local vendors and partners because I wasn't able to speak the local language which cause disruptions to our business processes.As a result, I enrolled in a language course school and gained the ability to converse with locals in the local language which improved the comprehension of language I had and positively affected my job role within the company.

My role included the packaging of clothes (product) and making them ready to be transferred to other stores in London and in other countries. In addition, I was responsible for receiving the inventory stock for our store, unpacking the products and making them ready for commercial use.This role was an excellent opportunity for me to test the skills I gained from my time at University and experiences I gained from meeting likeminded university peers. Therefore, I improved my communication skills as I learned how to effectively communicate in a professional setting. In addition, I was faced with situations where I had take immediate actions to solve problems which I had not planned for, hence I gained problem solving skills. As the work environment was quite fast-paced, I gained the ability to adapt accordingly to the workplace requirements and learnt to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

4 month internship endeavour at APL properties (real estate agency). I was working in the lettings department which consisted of 4 lettings agents one of which was assigned as my mentor.Under the supervision of my mentor, I was able to drastically improve my communication abilities and providing our landlords exceptional customer service. Since, my role mostly consisted of arranging appointments with landlords and tenants who wanted to rent out apartments. Therefore, I gained the ability to provide professional customer services and how to fulfil the needs of the tenant/landlords.In addition, my mentor had me step out of my comfort zone by handling all telephonic enquires of the landlords/tenants and also visit new properties and coming on an agreement with landlords to use our real-estate services.
