Responsible for all project budget handling. Advocacy with the govt and international networks on behalf of IDPs. Providing technical inputs on protection to IRC overall program. Budget Portfolio Responsibility: over USD 10 millionWorld Vision International is a US organisation working in Pakistan. I joined as Senior Technical advisor HEA, looking after HEA pillar, all the implementation, coordination and liaison of the Humanitarian & Emergency affairs(including Humanitarian Protection, Gender, Advocacy, DRR, DRM, Emergency Response, Contingency Planning) and also Child Protection Program in Mansehra and emergency operations of CAT-II in other parts of the country. As a Senior Advisor, leading advisors team and providing Mentoring to junior Advisors. Major responsibilities include developing National Disaster Preparedness Plan for organisation and strategies on Emergencies response and Humanitarian protection including gender disabilities and Child Protection. Also focal person to lead WVP Rapid Response Unit in any emergency within the country and manage the whole intervention upto CAT-II, including program and support sections. Coordination with Partnership Offices at global level for policy changes and standard development. Was also responsible for all inputs to different projects. Supervising PHF team in WVI. Member of Senior Management Team. Management of different projects under Humanitarian Protection program and leading all Emergency Affairs interventions by WVI in Pakistan. Budget Portfolio Responsibility: over USD 5 millionSector: Child protection, IDPs and ReliefJoined as Program Officer Muzaffarabad Office since November15, looking after all the operation of Emergency Response Program in Muzaffarabad with a team of more than 10 professionals (including two expatriate staff) and more than 50 junior level staff members. Program included Child Protection, Health, Livelihood activities, Operations, logistics etc. Working in close collaboration with Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social Welfare. Done assessment of different camps and rural areas and identified many issues. Introduced many innovative activities to assist the affected community through both tangible and intangible support from the ERP. Close coordination with UN agencies, INGOs, NGOs and govt deptts. Adopted both need based and rights based approach with special focus on Community mobilisation and development. Chairing Sub-Cluster of Child Protection

Working as Senior HRD Officer managed HRD unit and all its activities including guidance to staff and reporting for activities and further improvement of the program. Also involved in hiring and firing of staff and supporting gender section. Developed modules and negotiated with other organizations for different training. Support partner organizations for their capacity building needs.

Budget Portfolio Responsibility: over USD 15 millionSector: Food Security, RefugeesGovernment of Pakistan established different camps in the tribal areas of NWFP to accommodate Afghan refugees. As a response to Emergency, Food commodities are provided to these camps by UNWFP for their survival on monthly basis. The planning for their food requirement, monitoring of quality, quantity and distribution process is monitored by program assistant for smooth running of program and ensuring the rights to survival of the IDPs. All operational matters were managed.

In 2001, UNHCR started an Emergency Operation to screen refugees in Jalozai camp and shift them to other camps after giving them the status of official refugees entitled for refugee rights in Pakistan. After 9/11, project was suspended and relocation of refugees to other tribal camps started which eventually transformed into repatriation in 2002 and a next phase of ERP. SPO is a national NGO, working in the community at the grassroots level. SPO is working for the development of rural communities through capacity building by giving them training and funding small developmental projects.I have been working as Program Manager for rural communities and Project Manager for pioneering in NWFP in implementing a UNICEF funded Project, ECCD (Early Childhood Care and Development) for SPO.
