As a researcher at Uppsala University, I contributed to the advancement of cancer genetics and genome editing for more than five years. I applied my PhD in Medical Sciences and my skills in cell biology, biochemistry, and NGS to conduct forward and reverse genetic screening using CRISPR, rAAV, and transposon mutagenesis. My mission is to elucidate the role of cancer genes and mutations in tumorigenesis and in the development of resistance against anticancer therapies. I have multiple certifications in genome editing and transcriptome data analysis from EMBL, and I am fluent in Swedish, English, and Urdu. I am looking for a new challenge that will allow me to leverage my expertise and passion for cancer research.
