Senior Mechanical Engineer-Fired Equipment Packages

Mechanical EPC Engineer working on Fired Equipment packages like fired heaters, (Coker, Delayed Coker, Reformer, Hot oil Heater, CCR heaters etc.), Incinerators and waste heat recovery boilers.Responsibilities:-• Reviewing Client RFQs, Understand Client Specifications and requirements.• Identify requirements and scope of work; review project specifications, Process Data Sheets/Licensor Datasheet (PDS) and Mechanical Data Sheets (MDS), identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through technical queries to projects / client.• Review of ITB (Invitation to Bid) documents during the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions, review techno-commercial offers, prepare equipment and material estimates• Prepare MR Packages for Pressure parts, casting, fabrication and other auxiliary fired heater equipment like APH, SAPH FD fan, ID fan etc. Participate in the technical evaluation of supplier's offers. Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), review supplier drawings and documents.• Fired Heater Sizing as per API 560 and other standards, Preparation of MTO and Estimation of the total heater supply cost and engineering services cost • Proposal writing, scheduling / planning, and submission process.• Guide the CAD and 3D team to prepare General arrangement of Heater GA Drawing, Coil Drawing and the fabrication drawings Demolition erection and shipping drawings.• Check and review GA, Coil, and Fabrication drawings prepared by the draughtsman• Designing of Radiant Wall / Roof Tube Hanger, Convection Intermediate Tube Support, ITS Brackets, etc.• Pressure Part Thickness Calculations as per API 530, ASME Sec I, ASME Sec VIII Div.1, ASME B31.3 & ASME B 31.1• Hydrotest Pressure Calculations as per API / ASME Codes• Flange Rating Calculations as per ASME B16.5• Professional work experience in MS Office ( Word, Powerpoint especially Excel)

Giving Technical advice Disposition to Repair and rework of Directional Drilling tools like GXT-Geo pilot RS 5600, RS 7200, RS 9600 etc. for Halliburton. Cross check with material spec of Halliburton and MTR (material test report) given by the vendor. Detailed understanding about the mechanical part and function of drilling tool where the material properties out of limit. After the investigation and discussion(with customer if needed) we will get into disposition that the part is use as is, rework before use or scrap the part.
