Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between section orDepartments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and Compile manual or computerized record.• Review production schedules and related information and confers with department Supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track Items.• Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to department.• Examines material delivered to production department to verify conformance to specifications.• Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.• Compute amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and • Manufacturing processes.• To monitor and control movement of material and parts on automated conveyor systems. Duties and Responsibilities: • To ensure that all materials are delivered as peer schedules agreed by suppliers • During purchase order release.• Communicates with suppliers to follow up and expediting of purchase orders, with regards to current progress, anticipated delivery date. Delays in delivery, and requested changes to purchase order.• Inform all concerned departments about the expected delivery dates, with likely delays and revised dates, if any.• Calculate penalties (if applicable) for late deliveries in consultation with seniors and provide appropriate documentation to accounts payable for timely processing of invoices.• Meets Department seniors periodically to understand urgencies discuss action plans and provide feedback about supplier’s performance.•
