Building the future of Autonomous Driving.

❑ Recruited, hired, retained, motivated and developed a high performing software development team.❑ Managed a local team of 18 engineers (along with other teams offshore) delivering four multi-billion dollar vision projects.❑ Determined the technical skill set needed and staffing plans based on project and OEM plans, developed training plans for the team in line with technology needs.❑ Managed engineering budget covering both staffing and tooling local and offshore teams, worked with suppliers to quote and secure project tooling and SW packages.❑ Estimated and budgeted new vision projects from scratch, supported project team in kicking off these projects.❑ Proposed and led a progressive effort to implement and deploy CI/CD for Valeo’s driving assistance Business Group, leading to hundreds of thousands of R&D savings (including fully dropping specific project roles).❑ Proposed and led an effort to convert a conventional vision algorithm to a Neural Network based algorithm, proving substantial improvement. (Patent application under internal review)❑ Supported software project managers in implementing and executing software development plan.❑ Attended and Supported OEM meetings to review and align launch operations and handle blockers.❑ Managed a small team responsible of delivering OEM calibrations supporting all vehicle lines.❑ Successfully launched two project platforms for MY19 and MY20 vehicle lines, deployed to OEM plants across the globe. (US, Canada, Mexico, China, etc...)❑ Delivered training sessions for TeamForge, git and DevOps/Jenkins.

❑ Conducted technical deep-dives on software designs, code, test artifacts.❑ Attended multiple OEM workshops to review CyberSecurity design and implementation, this includes bootloader, diagnostics and ECU hardening.

❑ Implemented LVDS control layer over UART, including back-channel communication. ❑ Integrated BSW (Basic Software) components: DK (Diagnostics kernel), COM (Communication manager) and NM (Network management). ❑ Implemented application layer for diagnostics, network management and CAN communication over COM, satisfying JLR requirements for Network management and CAN communication and UDS. ❑ Integrated the bootloader – SWDL (Software Download). ❑ Maintained/Reviewed SRS (Software Requirements Specification) in IBM DOORS. ❑ Maintained JLR tests for Bootloader and Network, communicated the results and addressing JLR comments. ❑ Configured MCAL layer components using Elektrobit Tresos studio, including MCU (PLL), ADC (Analog-todigital converter), PORT/DIO (GPIO), GPT (Hardware timers). My contribution as Team coordinator: ❑ Supported in resolving multiple issues related to Production, Hardware and Image quality teams. ❑ Managed diagnostics sub-team, including tasks assignation, estimation and tracking. ❑ Reported bugs status from Bugzilla (Issue tracking system) to Software Project Leader (Product Owner). Spent 4 months in Ireland (Valeo Vision Systems HQ) to attend JLR meetings and support JLR RVC R&D teams.
