MUHAMMAD ANWAR Mobil Ph: # 0321-4897437anwar.361@gmail.com I did M.Phil Sociology and Master in Public health and have more than eighteen years’ experience of designing and implementing of Integrated Community Based Projects, with national and international NGOs on issues around Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization, Health Education & promotion, TB-HIV/AIDS, Nutrition and Iodine salt program, Community Involvement and Research Projects.In program management positions, I played a lead role in developing program strategies for advocacy, communication and social mobilization on Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS with particular focus on integrated community based health education & communication for (Provincial, National & NGO level);In addition I designed training and developed training modules and reference materials on TB .HIV/AIDS, Nutrition and other health effected diseases with strong focus in collaboration with Integrated Health Projects.Designed and conducted a number of participatory training, operational researches /assessment projects to understand the social causes and perceptions of rural communities about TB stigmas/perceptions, HIV/AIDS & reproductive health in association with leading national and international organizations, including “Health department, World Health Organization, Global Fund, National TB Control Program Pakistan in different years. I provided leadership to a number of key national level networks of civil society organizations like Punjab TB Consortium, TB Patient groups, NGO Forum, Pakistan Sociological Association, Media Advisory groups and Health Education Promoting organization. I have excellent relationship management skills, developed and managed partnerships with key NGOs, INGOs and government institutes.In my credit a number of researches publications/articles on HIV/AIDS, TB-DOTS, gender, cancer, dengue, dog bite and social & health related issues which were published in local and international journals. I have done the second last assignment with Global Fund for AID, TB & Malaria in Round 3 & 6 consolidated grant, with the focus of Engage-TB: integrated community based ACSM TB activities with local NGO, Schools and CBOs in overall Pakistan.
