• As a Manager Internal control lead the team of qualified professional to carry out the annual reporting assignment of SOX / COSO / ICFR as per SBP (Central Bank of Pakistan) requirement and to conduct control testing and other special assignment as and when prescribed by Group Head.• Perform scoping and mapping exercise to identify significant and material accounts & disclosure based on the quantitative and qualitative factors and their mapping with processes. • Perform Branch selection as per the entity selection framework, with due approval from Internal Control Committee conduct branch visits across Pakistan. • Review and Update the existing SOX / ICFR Governance Framework, Management testing framework and Entity Selection framework. • Review and update the process flows of each department, including RCEM (Risk Assessment), Test Plan, Gap Validation and Identify Gaps & Exceptions for the year. • Liaison with the top management at branch level (Branch Manager/Operations Manager/Regional General Manager) and Head office level (Unit Head / Group Head) to discuss and finalise the Gaps and Exception report. • Liaison with the Internal Audit Department / External Auditor to assist them in the finalisation of Long Form Report and Annual Assessment report. • Attended the Internal Control Committee meeting to discuss the significant control exceptions and Gaps highlighted. • Provide on the Job and class room training to the staff assigned for internal control testing. • Directly Reporting to Unit Head Internal Control Department and Indirectly or as and when required to Group Head (CFO).
