Prof. Dr. Arshad is an agricultural and environmental expert with an experience of over 13 years as an academician, researcher, environmental and social impact assessment consultant. He has worked on different national and international projects funded by the local and foreign funding agencies. He has been involved in project conceptualization, development, execution and, monitoring and evaluation in relevant sectors. He has been part of different technical committees at national level under the umbrella of the Ministry of Climate Change, Ministry of National Food Security & Research, the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and Pakistan Science Foundation where critical input is provided to devise policies for environmental protection, food security, research process development, improvement, and funding acquisitions. He has also served as a trainer to the corporate sector and international agencies. He has been consultant on different development projects, undertaken by governmental organizations and autonomous bodies.
