•Develop project procurement plan / strategy / procedures / approved supplier and sub-contractor list along with sales manager/s in line with the overall project requirement. •Review bid documents, technical specifications, drawings & bill of quantity, prepare RFQ & floating the RFQs to the approved vendors, following up to receive quotations on time. •Review quotations received from vendors, verify Technical Specifications ensuring participation by QA/QC & Sales departments and perform Commercial Evaluation.• Negotiate rates, payment terms, delivery terms with selected vendors and prepare comparative statement with recommendations for decision by concerned authority. •Issue purchase order after approval of concerned authority ensuring that all technical, commercial and legal aspects are covered in compliance with company procedures & project requirements.• Liaise with finance and shipping/logistics departments for all payments and shipment related matters during purchase order processing.•Monitoring & controls of orders including expediting, arrangement of inspections (if required) till successful close out.•Communicate with suppliers to obtain desired results in the event of issues such as failure of response from supplier, excessive delays or partial delivery, incorrect or missing certifications, OS & Ds.•Develop new reliable sources for material acquisition using the internet, trade directories and attending local & foreign trade exhibitions.•Maintain continuous business relationships with all local and foreign vendors for favorable credit terms, reliable services & Long-Term Price Agreements (LTPA).•Perform Risk management pertaining to project procurement and ensure compliance to various procedures/ policy guidelines/ code of business conduct. •Assist in the development of annual stock demand and purchasing plans including strategies based on risk and value, and handle updates and follow-ups thereof.

Responsibilities•Review contract documents, Prepare the Planning Package by defining WBS for project interfaces, project activities, allocate the budget resources, establish the sequence of activities, and schedule the activities to meet Client’s requirements by using PRIMAVERA (P3).•Liaise with engineering department for the issuance of project design package.•Study fabrication drawings & project specifications to prepare RFQs covering all necessary technical and commercial requirements. •Forward RFQs to Procurement department along with project procurement plan, monitor procurement activities to ensure availability of material as scheduled.•Issue detailed fabrication drawings, and material to production department and monitor fabrication activities.•Communicate with client, line management and all relevant departments involved in project execution. •Report project status (progress, cost and schedule) on weekly and monthly basis. •Prepare payment certificate with all the supporting documents for invoicing purpose.•Monitor overall project progress at all stages of a project till its completion.
