Currently, I am working in the capacity of Software Engineer in the Afiniti™ Reporting Team. Afiniti™ is an intelligent call mapping system which uses demographic and psychographic data of both customers and agents to generate optimized customer-agent call mappings. These improved and intelligent mappings result in better customer services, reduce call handle time and improve sales percentage.My role in this team is "Solution-Provider for different Switches Afiniti™ integrates with, which includes Avaya, Aspect, NICE Total view IEX, Blue Pumpkin etc.Duties:• Manipulating, cleansing & processing data using Excel, Access, SQL Server, MySQL and IBM Informix.• Responsible for loading, extracting and validation of client data.• Analyzing raw data, drawing conclusions & developing recommendations.• Writing T-SQL scripts to manipulate data for data loads and extracts.• Performing daily system checks.• Data auditing, creating data reports & monitoring all data for accuracy.• Designing, developing and implementing new functionality.• Monitoring the automated loading processes.• Advising on the suitability of methodologies and suggesting improvements.• Carrying out specified data processing and statistical techniques.• Supplying qualitative and quantitative data to colleagues & clients.• Data analysis and investigation.Key skills and competencies:• Attention to detail & ability to work in a pressurized time sensitive environment.• Experience running complex and high volume ETL processes.• Exposure to MIS/data warehouse applications.• Checking of supplied data for sense, consistency and accuracy.• Sound understanding of relational, object and dimensional databases.• Extensive experience with SQL Server, MySQL, IBM Informix, T-SQL, DTS/SSIS & Excel.
