Collaborating with my group mate, Ahmad Muneer, we used an Arduino UNO, a breadboard, jumper wires, four ultrasonic sensors, and a buzzer to bring this project to life.Functionality: Our project employs four ultrasonic sensors strategically placed to cover all four boundaries of a house. When an object (potential intruder) breaches these boundaries, the sensors detect it and trigger the buzzer to sound an alarm. However, the system isn't without its flaws:- it cannot differentiate between various objects, such as animals or birds, which may also trigger the alarm. We also constructed the house model by hand, using ice-cream sticks and wooden sticks to create a detailed and visually appealing representation.This project truly tested our capabilities and I'm grateful for the guidance and valuable advice from our esteemed instructors, professor Dr.Munwar Iqbal and Sir Raja Anees . Hands-on hardware projects like these are crucial for computer science students, as they enhance our understanding of both software and hardware integration.
