Manager of HPC Systems at National Computational Infrastructure (NCI). NCI traditionally hosts the fastest supercomputer(s) in Australia.... I managed all the technical aspects of supercomputers/cluster at NCI (of course along with Australia's brightest).o Setting up directions for the HPC systems team, prioritization of tasks and ensuring that the all the compute clusters at NCI are performing optimally.o Custom Linux kernel compilation and patches.o System deployment using oneSIS and root-over-lustre.o Maintain Lustre Kernel modules and patches.o Infiniband Modules and patches.o Development of a new monitoring infrastructure.o Deployment, management and monitoring of PBSPro.o Maintenance of Lustre.

• Design, development and deployment of scalable profiling and performance monitoring tools and techniques, both at the system and application level. • Support development and integration of parallel applications.• Provide training and consulting to NCI users for application tools and techniques. • Perform analysis of the performance of HPC systems and applications at Petascale level (includes HPC in the Cloud).• Monitor, diagnose and rectify faults and scalability limitations in HPC systems, particularly in system software.• System administration of compute clusters at NCI – National Facility.

- Design, implementation and maintenance of the data intensive compute cluster at ANUSF (dcc.nci.org.au).- Part of the team that designed and deployed the Compute Cloud at NCI. - Provide support to Climate Modelling and Earth Systems Grid (ESG) community in Australia and enable their research at dcc and peak machine.- Provide support to Geoscience community in Australia and enable their research on the computational cloud and peak machine.- Provide support to bioinformatics community and enable their research on peak machine.- Architect of the state of the art web-stack of NCI and Australian Data Archives (ADA)- Analysis and design of various virtual laboratory pipelines at NCI cloud.
