Program Manager
CurrentRight To Play’s program draws from the Sport, Play and International Development sectors, leveraging the “power of play” to educate and empower children facing adversity. Currently organization has added a new stream in its program thorough which Sport and play-based learning will be used to empower girls and boys with life skills to effectively challenge gender inequality, build essential life skills such as resilience, cooperation and team work that will ultimately result in preventing violence against women and girls (VAWG). This will happen alongside capacity building of teachers, schools and education departments to bring about sustained institutional change to reduce bullying and improve resiliency.Role: Reporting to the Country Manager Right To Play Pakistan, the Program Manager is a senior management position, based in Sindh for the VAWNG program planning, management and implementation also serve as focal technical as well coordination person for Sindh. • Program development and deliver.• Liaison with government department including provincial administrations, other CSOs and I/NGOs. • Work closely with teacher training and curriculum development institutions in province to integrate Right To Play’s methodology into curriculum, text books and class room teaching• Frequents coordination with VAWG partners and donor.• Lead program implementation team. This includes leadership, strategy and technical support in to project teams in the assigned project sites. • Promote understanding of Right To Play goals and objectives at provincial level.• M&E and reporting. • Financial management and reporting. • Support policy dialogue with education department for integration of Right To Play mythologies in teaching practices.
