Right To Play’s program draws from the Sport, Play and International Development sectors, leveraging the “power of play” to educate and empower children facing adversity. Currently organization has added a new stream in its program thorough which Sport and play-based learning will be used to empower girls and boys with life skills to effectively challenge gender inequality, build essential life skills such as resilience, cooperation and team work that will ultimately result in preventing violence against women and girls (VAWG). This will happen alongside capacity building of teachers, schools and education departments to bring about sustained institutional change to reduce bullying and improve resiliency.Role: Reporting to the Country Manager Right To Play Pakistan, the Program Manager is a senior management position, based in Sindh for the VAWNG program planning, management and implementation also serve as focal technical as well coordination person for Sindh. • Program development and deliver.• Liaison with government department including provincial administrations, other CSOs and I/NGOs. • Work closely with teacher training and curriculum development institutions in province to integrate Right To Play’s methodology into curriculum, text books and class room teaching• Frequents coordination with VAWG partners and donor.• Lead program implementation team. This includes leadership, strategy and technical support in to project teams in the assigned project sites. • Promote understanding of Right To Play goals and objectives at provincial level.• M&E and reporting. • Financial management and reporting. • Support policy dialogue with education department for integration of Right To Play mythologies in teaching practices.

Sindh, Pakistan

Right To Play’s program focuses geographical areas are in North Pakistan KPK and in South Sindh and Baluchistan. Role: • Technical lead person south region of the program implementation. • Program and projects planning, management and implementation. • Coordination with government department including provincial administrations, other CSOs and I/NGOs • Serving as lead trainer and capacity building of staff, government officials, volunteers, partners and other beneficiaries• Promote understanding of Right To Play goals and objectives. • M&E and reporting. • Financial management and reporting. • Support policy dialogue with education department for integration of Right To Play mythologies in teaching practices. Key Achievements:• Strong relationships have been established for the project implementation and suitability with, education departments/institutions such as Provincial Institute of Teachers Education (PITE), Board of Curriculum (BOC) , Reform Support Unit (RSU), district/provincial administrations, community development department, sports department and community organizations. • Significantly contributed in organization’s capacity building portfolio in Sindh. So for conducted various ToTs, training workshops for staff, teachers, partners and Master Trainers (MTs) of PITE and BoC. • Repented organization at provincial level forums such as ECE Policy Sindh dialogues, Sindh Education Sector Plan (SESP) development, Joint Education Sector Review (JESR), Text Books Reviews by BCEWS, Child Friendly Schools Standards workshop and Local Education Group (LEG) as well as Child Rights Movement –Sindh Chapter.• Proudly conducted training of Pakistan’s team which has been second runner up in the Street Children Foot ball World Cup (2014-Brazile) on Leadership and life skills.• Established partnerships with local NGOs to expand and sustain the program- through this partnership the program reached to more than 15000 children.

Thatta, Sindh, Pakitan

This was an educational developmental project aims to promote positive child and youth development, active learning methodologies through sports and play as tool for development. Role: • Project planning, management and implementation. • Coordination with government department including district/provincial administration, other CSOs and I/NGOs • Capacity building of Teachers, Teacher Educators, government institutions and community organizations, and youth. • Promote understanding of Right To Play goals and objectives. • M&E and reporting. • Financial management and reporting. • Capacity building of staff, government officials, volunteers, partners and other beneficiaries.• Hiring, induction, orientation and supervision of staff and coaches. • Security management and logistics. Key achievements:• Successful completion of the three year project with overwhelming achievements were applauded at community, organization , donor and Govt. line departments and donor level. • On the result of the project the organization program expanded in five more districts of Sindh. • 35000 beneficiaries (children) in 70 schools have been reached against the expected 25000 children in 50 schools. • Additionally managing portfolio of district coordinator in another project. • 300 young leaders has been identified, trained and engaged in program implementation and Social Action Projects. • Strong relationships have been established for the project implementation and suitability with 132 partner schools, education departments at districts level. • I have been internationally certified as trainer in Right To Play resources and also got appreciation letter by Johan Olav Koss-Founder and CEO of the organization.

With British Council Pakistan, has been affiliated as a Lead Facilitator for its Global Active Citizen program (A youth civic awareness and leadership development project which aims to promote global citizenship and; trust and understanding between different cultures of the world), as a lead facilitator. So for, has facilitated in following workshop and conferences across Pakistan and abroad.• As a lead facilitator lead International Study Visit (ISV) a weeklong community engagement and learning event which attended by Active Citizens of 6 countriesLead sessions at Training of the Facilitators (ToF) at Dhaka Bangladesh. • Co-facilitated a three day UK-Pakistan Active Citizen Scoping Workshop 12- 14 February, 2008 at London.• Co- facilitated a four day “Pan African Event” a mega event of Inter-Action Leadership Program held at Living Stone Zambia which was facilitated by 23 African, UK and Pakistani facilitators and participated by 150 participants of 19 different African countries.• Co-facilitated a three day workshop of Inter-Action Leadership Program at Tema (Ghana) attended by 16 participants from diverse back ground of Ghana.• Trained not less than 200 facilitators belonging different backgrounds and regions of Pakistan through week long Training of Facilitators (ToFs) with UK and Pakistani facilitators.• Workshops for the (youth not less than 600) across the Pakistan through week long workshops to learn the social development concepts, skills and attitude to play a leadership a role in their societies and beyond for social cohesion and sustainable development.

USAID Pakistan Jobs Project for Youth executed as IP of Care International.• 200 university graduates and 50 low educated youth trained and placed in jobs.2- Iodine Deficiency Disorder and Universal Iodization a program of Micro Nutrient Initiative (MI)• In the first phase the project was implemented in 15 districts of the Sindh and Baluchistan. In the result of the successful implementation the organization was awarded the project in 72 districts in all the four provinces of Pakistan in the next phase.

With a long term association has played a key role to evolve the organization as a quality service provider in Sindh.Role: • Program development, execution and direction. • Direct regional/project teams for successful implementation of the projects hiring of the projects staff and explain them organization and project goals.• Capacity development of the projects staff, teachers and communities. • Coordination with government line departments, donors, partner organizations and other stake holders..• Writing funding proposal, periodic progress reports. Key Achievements:I have played a key role to evolve the organization a dozen of projects desgined, negociated with donors and executed successfully. Some of the selected examples are quoted below; • Model Community School Project: A formal quality education program funded by Save the Children and Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) .Rural Based Community Schools: 25 NFE centres for 2000 children have been established and functioned in collaboration with Sindh Education Foundation (SEF).• Home School Program: 5 low cost formal schools for girls have been established and functioned in collaboration with SEF. • Alternate Education for Working Children (Girls): 10 centres for accelerated learning have been established in collaboration with Save the Children UK; • Functional Literacy and Life skills Centres: Two canters were run in Badin City for working children in collaboration with CHIP Islamabad. • Integrated Pest Management of Rice Crop: with UNDP/ GEF – SGP, implemented in Golarchi district Badin. • Women Skill Development project on Farasi/Rugs with SMEDA/ AHAN Federal Ministry of Industries. • Election Observation and Voter Education Program: the project was implemented in district Sanghar and Badin funded by Free & Fair Election Network (FAFEN).

Sanghar

Role: • Lead the project management team • Undertake dialogues for explaining the project goals and its approach to elected local government representatives and the target communities. • Conduct capacity development workshops. • Identify potential law professionals and organize formal working relationships with them.• Provide guidelines for developing training module, mass awareness booklets and conducting training workshops for local government representatives. • Liaison between donor and other stake-holders. • Prepare periodical financial and progress reports.Key Achievements:• All the targets set out in the project agreement were achieved. LJCP acknowledged DevCon at various forums.• Excellent participation of the target beneficiaries ensured 161 local government representatives out of 167 completed the trainings.
