Responsible for the erection / installation and commissioning of Electrical equipment at 220kV Grid station.

Supervised the Erection / Installation of 500kV Double Circuit Transmission line.

 Supervision of Testing & Commissioning of 525kV Switchyard and Hydro Power Plant Major Components including Generators, Transformers, LV & MV Switchgear, Earthing System, Cabling and installation & maintenance of all Electrical Equipment in WAPDA Residential colony which mainly include:• Review and approve testing & commissioning protocol of Generator, Transformers, MV & LV cables, Excitation system, Fire alarm system, 525kV Switchyard, MV & LV Switch gear, IPB, Generator Circuit Breaker, etc.• Review and approve O&M Manual of Generators, Transformers, Excitation systems, fire alarm system, 525kV Switchyard, Medium Voltage Equipment, DC station Supply System, Co2 Fire Fighting system of Generator.• Review and approve method statements and as built drawing of all electrical system.• Prepare reports of defects in equipment during DLP.• Handover of spare parts of electrical equipment / material to the Client.• Documents handover process to Employer as per Contract.• Inspection of remaining works as per punch lists.• Inspection of megger testing of dewatering pumps. Design review of building electrification of WAPDA residential colony, Power house, Control Building, 11KV Substation, Workshop, Water Treatment Plant and pumping station including cable sizing, breaker sizing, transformer sizing performing all related calculations.• Review of shop drawing and electrical layout (conduiting, wiring, road lighting) as per design and specifications.• Inspection the quality of LT Panels, distribution boards, cables, PVC pipes and different type of Electric fixture as per design and specifications.• Supervising / checking the earthing and lightning protection system in different site.• Megger testing of HT/LT cables.• Inspection of testing and commissioning of telephone cables of WAPDA offices and Residential houses.

 Design Review of of ±660KV 4000MW Bipole HVDC Matiari – Lahore Transmission Line.• Review of plan and profile drawings of transmission line.• Review of route change transmission line towers drawing submitted by the contractor.• Review of house demolition drawing through the corridor of Transmission line submitted by the contractor.• Review of grounding and jumper loop installation drawings of transmission towers submitted by the Contractor.• Witness the Concrete Cylinder Testing and Compressive Strength Test on drilled Concrete Core samples of different Tower foundations.• Witness the Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) and bending test of Steel samples.• Witness the Concrete Slump test on site of different tower foundations. Manage the site matters / correspondence of the Project with NTDC and the Contractor. • Carried out various progress presentations as well as weekly & Monthly updates to Project Manager.• Site visits for the supervision / inspection of towers erection and conductors stringing.• Inspection of Towers grounding.• Visual inspection of insulators and assemblies at the site.• Prepare monthly progress reports and sent to Client.• To assist Resident Engineer regarding verification proformas of Quality / Quantity of concrete foundations, tower erection and stringing activities.• Drafting Project Implementation Report.

Supervision / Monitoring of the Erection / Installation and Testing of all Hydroelectric Generation Station which mainly include:•Generators 4x295MVA / 15.75 kV (Stator Core, Stator Winding, Rotor & Auxiliaries).•525kV Switchyard having double bus bar and breaker & a half scheme, and SF6 Circuit Breakers.•12x98.7 MVA, Main Power Transformers (HT/LT Bushing, Oil Filling & Auxiliaries).•Low Voltage (400 V) and Medium Voltage (11kV) Switchgear and 220 V DC System.•Isolated Phase Bus (IPB), Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), & Power House Auxiliary System.•525KV XLPE Power Cables.•Earthing of Power House & Switchyard Equipment•Cable Trays and MV and LV Cable laying•Control Building and 11KV Substation Electrical WorkPreparation of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually progress reports of Electrical Section and sent these to CRE (E&M).Preparation of Presentation and Physical Progress Report on Monthly Basic. Preparation of Site Instructions (SI) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).Reviewing Method Statements, Contract Document and Drawings.To check Contractor’s work as per Drawings and to monitor progress of work as per Construction Schedule.Inspection of Material arrived at siteRecord keeping for quick reference regarding site issuesSupervision / Monitoring of under construction WAPDA Residential Colony, Water Treatment Plant and Administration Building Electrical works which mainly include:•Inspection of underground LT/HT cable laying as per Standard.•Inspection of Internal/ External Electrification works.•Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Main Panels and Distribution boards.•Multi core cables laying in trenches, cable termination using lugs and glands as per standard specification.•Cable insulation resistance test using Megger.•Earthing of all Electrical Equipment.•Inspection of Street lighting poles foundation and fixtures.•Verifying IPC’S & other estimates (VOs) submitted by Contractors regarding Building Works.

 Supervised all subcontractor work to ensure compliance with Client requirements which mainly include:• Installation of Electrical Conduits for Lighting System, Fire Alarm System, Telecommunication and Security System in Power House, 525KV Switchyard, 11KV Substation and Control Building.• Installation of Equipment Earthing as per Contract.• Installation of Cable Tray, LV & MV Cable laying and Termination. Checking the incoming Material / equipment arrived at site. Office Records keeping. Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress report of Subcontractor Work.
