Currently they have completed and successfully passed the following modules: - IS4S761: Principles of Computing. - MS4S08: Applied Statistics for Data Science. - MS4S09: Data Mining and Statistical Forecasting. - MS4S16: Applied Machine Learning and Deep Learning. - IS4S706: Project Management and Research Methodology They are due to receive marks for MS4S21: Big Data Engineering and its Applications as well as MS4T01: MSc Project shortly. The student has gained a variety of experiences from the course. In terms of software, the student has utilised; Python, R, SAS, SQL, PowerBI, AWS, DynamoDB and more. The student has used industry standard packages such as sklearn & pytorch for building machine learning and deep learning models. Conducted Text Mining analysis in R, and built data infrastructure using AWS, and a whole lot more! Through their assessments, they've demonstrated their technical ability, as well as communicative and demonstration abilities through poster presentations and similar assessments. I would highly recommend this students for roles relating to Data Science/ Engineering/ Analytics, and similar Computer Science themed roles. Course Leader, Ieuan Griffiths" and "I had the pleasure of supervising Muhammad during his MSc Data Science project, a 12-week independent module where he developed a machine learning heart disease prediction model with a focus on explainability. Muhammad also compared prediction accuracy based on varying the numbers of features, ultimately reducing the number of inputs required for efficient predictions. He also developed a user-friendly Flask app to make heart disease predictions more accessible. Muhammad is always seeking to learn more, asking insightful questions and finding new ways to solve problems. I am confident he will excel in any future data science endeavour and would highly recommend him to any team or project looking for a motivated and independent professional."
