During this internship, I had the privilege of learning about Biolubricant synthesis under the guidance of Sir Sadiq Amin. He instructed me on the synthesis process and taught me how to determine various physiochemical properties such as density, viscosity, pour point and flash point of biolubricants. Throughout the internship at SMME, I undertook multiple tasks of diverse nature. I quickly grasped the process and successfully developed the lubricants. Additionally, I was assigned to work with the Olympus Electric Microscope for surface morphological and failure mode investigations at high magnification.
