Scientist. Environmentalist. Animal lover. I’m a Masters candidate who aims to enter the job market as I begin the next stage of my academic career. My goal is to gain valuable work experience both in my field and other fields where my skills would be useful. I completed my undergraduate degree majoring in Microbiology and Biochemistry, with my Honours degree majoring in Microbiology. My research encompasses both my Honours and MSc degrees. It aims to implement an effective biological alternative to conventional, environmentally-damaging metal extraction procedures. The ultimate goal of this research is environmental sustainability, a concept close to my heart. I aim to take the valuable skills learnt during this research and implement them into any job.
