An NLP research expert and teacher with highly motivated, leadership skills having a Master of Science in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus. Also has 3 years of teaching, research, and development experience. My research interests are specifically in NLP with Machine Learning, and Deep Learning including Mono-lingual Semantic Textual Similarity, Text Reuse Detection, Word Sense Disambiguation, Fake Reviews Detection, and Sentiment Analysis. I have learned NLP, ML, Recommender Systems, and Data Mining in MS coursework.Currently, working as a lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering, The University of Lahore. An active group member of the NLP research group led by Dr. Ali Saeed. We are working on a number of research topics, including supervised classifications in Urdu/English/Roman Urdu. Also, I have learned and implemented deep learning concepts.Regarding machine learning models, I have experience working with algorithms: Naïve Bayes, SVM, KNN, Multilayered Perceptron, RNN, LSTM, GRU, Bi-LSTM, Bi-GRU, InferSent, LASER, BERT and Transformer. Further, I have strong knowledge of Text preprocessing techniques: Word embedding, parts of speech tagging-based approaches, TF-IDF, One-Hot encoding, and Bag of Words. Recently, I published an article on Roman Urdu Fake Review Detection with the NLP group titled "Roman Urdu Fake Review Detection Using Stacked LSTM Architecture" in SN Computer Science, Springer Nature Journal. There are three more articles are under review in which we have implemented state-of-the-art models.
