FINANCIAL REPORTING:• Finalization of accounts of Group Companies in accordance with IFRS and company ordinance.• Prepare necessary schedules, working and arrangements for Statutory Audit of Group Cpmpanies.• Ensure compliance of all necessary accounting policies, standards and practices. • To ensure book keeping of all accounting and financial transaction through staff and also ensure Inventory valuation and quantitive reconciliation.MANAGEMENT REPORTING:• Preparation of management accounts of group companies on monthly basis.• Performance management of group companies on monthly basis. • Participating in the preparation of annual master budget of group companies.• Variance (Standard vs. Actual) and ratio analysis report on monthly basis.• Analytical review reporting on capital Investment and working capital requirement.• Working on Investment appraisals using WAAC.• Participating in treasury management.• Ensure the compliance against and monitoring of investments in mutual funds.TAXATION:• Monitoring the submission of quarterly and monthly tax statements of Group Companies u/s 147 and 165 of Income Tax Ordinance 2001.• Filing of Annual tax returns of Group Companies and directors u/s 114.• Attending to notices (Against monitoring & Tax audit) from Income tax department on different sections of Income Tax Ordinance 2001• Participating in tax & financial resource planning of Group Companies.• Gap analysis for expected and desired profit for tax purpose.• Attending tax & corporate seminars held by different statutory and private bodies.• Planning and compliance to get exemption for withholding tax u/s 153. • Monitoring the filing of sales tax returns and attending notices under sales tax Act 1990.• Monitoring the filing of corporate returns to S.E.C.P.
