I am an idealist, but I am also a realist. I am a university certified graduate of Quantity Surveying and Construction Project Management programmes, but I was never satisfied when I graduated and decided to use the understanding to gain more knowledge. I have the belief that learning is a never-ending process. As the saying goes, one who stops learning stops living his life. I pursued my PhD in 2017 and finishes in 2021 while successfully published eight academic publications and one thesis. I worked as a research assistant for a cross-disciplinary Malaysian government's research grant, and I used to organise and attend seminars, colloquium, and focus group discussions. I also worked as a marketing executive to support my studies and currently working in a start-up company. I also had the opportunity to travel to many places over the world including, Oslo, London, Istanbul, Erzurum, Taipei, Stockholm, Bali, Jakarta, Bandung, Jogjakarta, Manchester, Liverpool, Berlin, Cornwall, South Korea, Cordoba, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Venice, Croatia, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Netherlands, Scotland, Wales and Orang Asli settlements in Malaysia to wonder and ponder in deepening my sense of understanding of how the world can be a better place to live in for everyone. As a result, I had published a travelogue and sold 2000 copies of it, apart from being invited to give sharing sessions to elementary schools, university's programs, and radio broadcasting and television programmes. None of the pleasure of travelling the world is meaningful if not shared with other people. For the travelogue, the profits were donated to a non-profit organisation that helps Orang Asli as part of my idea to give back to the community. In short, I am just a guy who thinks that this life is just a journey towards the eternal destination. Let's be serious about work and be cheerful about life.
