As the Manager of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) at Kamal Limited, I lead the implementation and improvement of EHS and quality management systems for a textile manufacturing company with over 5000 employees. I have a Master of Business Administration degree in Information Technology, and I hold the NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) and the ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certificate (LAC) in Environment and Occupational Safety and Health.With 20 years of experience in the field of industrial safety and compliance, I have successfully monitored, controlled, and contributed to the documentation, risk assessment, hazard analysis, and audit processes for various buyers and regulatory bodies, such as Wal-Mart, Blue Stem, JC Penney, NEXT, Primark, Accord, Betterwork, IKEA, and Target. I have also designed and implemented a scorecard method for evaluating the performance of different departments, and a system for raising the awareness and counseling of new and existing employees on EHS and human rights issues.
