I am a software engineer, who recently graduated from the General Assembly Software Engineering Immersive program, eager to work with a creative and knowledgable team where I can prove my skills and learn along the way. I constantly improve and polish up my full-stack web development and programming skills - primarily Javascript, Python, Django, React, WebSockets, SQL, CSS, and HTML. I previously worked as an IoT Engineer gaining valuable industry experience in the automation of WLAN and radio communication systems, and data extraction of said systems. This is how I was introduced to programming professionally, and discovered how much I loved doing it. I wrote Python scripts (my go-to programming language for network automation) to automate sensor processing data, then deployed them as a Linux service to the servers. Despite knowing that this territory involves working with both software and hardware, what truly made me consider the transition fully to software is that when working with hardware, you are somewhat limited in what configurations you can make.
