- Policy Development and Implementation: • Responsible for define and implementing the Industrial Relations strategy and providing support on all Industrial / Employees Relations related activities to facilitate continuous progress at all sites. - Industrial Relations: • Being a leading member of charter of demands negotiation committee conduct Collective Bargaining and negotiate with CBA with a view to promote amicable settlement and resolve industrial disputes. • Maintains good union/management relationship. Directs management staff (dealing with workers) at all levels in order to promote mutual understanding between Management and the CBA. Establish and maintain effective channels of communication between the management and workers and develop systems and methods for motivating workers towards maintenance of constructive discipline and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.- Compensation and Benefits: • Manage increment and promotion process, conduct salary surveys and analyzes compensation structure as well as salary reports data to define competitive compensation plan. - Legal / Advisory Role: • Represent management on different labor management bodies i.e. constitution and hold meetings of Works Council, Joint Management Board, Management Committee, Welfare Fund Committee etc., as per law/settlement to decide the matters and co-operate/co-ordinate in the maintenance of good labour management relations in order to resolve the grievances/problems of the workers. • Represent the management and assist legal counsels for preparation of various cases, at different courts of law and have been succeeded to get the courts verdicts in favour of the company. Ensure effective representation of company at all judicial forums i.e. Labour Court, Appellate Tribunal, NIRC etc.
