CurrentComply with all PTNNT Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as well as those required under the Decree of the Ministry of Mines and Energy Number 555.K/26/M.PE and the Decree of the Ministry of Mines and Energy Number 1211.K/008/M.PE/1995. Comply with all SHLP, Environment and Social Responsibility requirements under Newmont Asia Pacific Integrated Management System, Newmont vision and values. Ensuring that the organization’s Health and Safety standards are effectively implemented within the group in a manner consistent with the cultural norms of Indonesia and the location. Managing available resources for all production support activities including but not limited to; road layout and construction, final ramp construction, mine road maintenance and upgrade, Drainage maintenance and upgrade, dust suppression, Mine Water group assistance, Electrical group assistance, Process group assistance, Geology and Geotechnical group assistance with drill pads, crushed rock and stemming haulage, D&B pattern preparation and cleanup, Lowboy management, allocation of labour, supplies and equipment. Liaises with the Maintenance Department to ensure optimum availability of production support equipment. Liaises with process plant personnel to ensure sufficient equipment support at the Process facility. Analysis of the quality and quantity of daily production support provided and initiating appropriate remedial action where necessary to ensure that production and cost forecasts can be achieved. Work closely with the Drill & Blast and Engineering sections to ensure appropriate patterns are prepared in line with the mine plan. Provide technical input to the work group to ensure that training needs to improve operational effectiveness and safety are identified and the required training is undertaken. Ensure the transfer of technical knowledge to the Indonesian workforce and the ability to mentor one-on-one.
