CFD ANALYSIS FOR FUTURE AND EXISTING DATA HALLS• Perform CFD analysis for existing and future data halls.• Optimize cooling requirements for existing data halls and assist with design/analyze the cooling system for new data halls using CFD tools • Support design team in data hall cooling design • Provide effective design solutions to optimize cooling functionality, reliability and stability.• Identify poor airflow regions in existing data hall and proposed improvements• Perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements.• Attend team meetings to discuss design techniques and issues.• Work with the commissioning team in developing and executing design verification plans and mechanical testing methods.• Follow best practices for accurate computational efficiency.• Provide accurate and detailed reports of CFD results.• Maintain complete documentation for CFD analysis and engineering methods.DESIGN• Assist with design of data center white space which includes rack layout, hot/cold containment, network infrastructure, branch circuit distribution, cable pathway, and projected build phases• Design, develop and review written plans with blueprints, develop and review single line diagrams; review mechanical, electrical and architectural system plans• Assist with creation of engineering packages for the installations of racks, fiber raceway, cable tray, power and grounding• Research new designs, materials, and construction methods for data center electrical and mechanical equipment and related components• Take rough product designs and building schematics, or product add-ons and reformatting and representing them in a digital form• Translate mark-ups into drawings, check and plot drawings, correctly labeled final working drawings, and update contract drawings and specifications.• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and efficiency and other operational specifications in all work rendered• Provide technical support during construction phases
