Job Responsibilities:• Designed, implemented activations and insertions of new SDH nodes on existing network.• Performed Operation and Maintenance of Optical Fiber Networks through NMS using Huawei T2000 & ZTE unified Management system.• Performed preventive maintenance for preventing breakdowns through analysis of alarms using NMS. • Planned/ Designed for system up gradations, new Fiber routes for Metro and long-haul Networks.• Provisioning of SDH transmission facilities for Internal and external customers.• Present solutions to ensure effective and efficient utilization of available resources. • Evaluate OTDR results to determine quality of fiber and splices.
