As a remote junior scientist, I analyze clinical data, write and edit scientific manuscripts, create and maintain databases, and perform insilico analysis using bioinformatics tools. As a research assistant, I'm responsible for collecting samples and demographic data, and performing DNA/RNA extraction. I have extensive experience in running conventional and real-time PCR, and I utilized this skill set to contribute to the development of innovative research projects. In addition, I performed immunohistochemistry to investigate protein expression in tissues and helped interpret the resulting data. My role also involved extensive laboratory work, including the preparation of reagents, and the documentation of all laboratory procedures and results.
