For the 3 months, I was assigned to the Manufacturing Department.For this department, we receive Project Instructions(Log Traveller and Mockup) and Components to build PCB boards To Order.We work with each other from different sections of the Production lines, which includes Material Preparation ,SMTs,Component Loading,Meter Test and Quality Control.I was assigned to two different sections for the 10 weeks, the first few weeks was in the component loading station, where i was tasked to Load Components such as fuses resistors and sockets , apply Water Soluble Mask and Peelable mask to PCBs.For the last five weeks, i was assigned to the material preparation station. This is the start of the production line where we handle components coming from the Store And QA Departments and measure Quantity to ensure that all components are of the correct quantity to send to the rest of the Production line.From this internship, I learned about many kinds of components and boards, experienced a real work life environment, gained knowledge and experience regarding this industry and can apply this knowledge and experience i have learned in the future.
