Quality Engineer for Mercedes underbody parts . Implemented APQP to ensure quality of stamping and welded assemblies.Successfully completed Mercedes PPAPs and Chrysler PSO. Performed GD & T review and provide feedback to the customer to resolve build issues during launch. Engineering standard review and implementation to ensure part quality Developed PFMEA, Process Flow, Production Control Plans, Supplier Inspection Standards, Launch Containment Plans, Datamyte Programs, Sample Data Sheets, P-Charts to monitor non conformances Xbar and R Charts to monitor process Prompt response to the customer concerns, containment of non conforming product, sort/ rework/dispositionRoot cause analysis, corrective action implementation & verification using 3 path 5 why Weekly meeting with customer for parts dimensional data review/corrective action. FARO SPC data review and release to the customer, work with PE for jig adjustment or supplier for stamping issue to correct out of tolerance condition Internal assembly and stamping issues review/ disposition and corrective action. Engineering change assembly PPAPs submission to the customer Supplier visits for corrective action and PPAPs sign offSupported re-sourcing activities by visiting current and future suppliers to ensure parts quality and optimum inventory at current supplier and process and procedures are in place for parts quality and on time delivery from new supplier.
