•Perform process characterization on the new product introduction whichinvolve direct material such as new wafer and frame.•Conduct Design of Experiment(DOE) to understand process behavior and toidentify the critical factors that affecting quality of the process/product beforeperforming the optimization.•Defined specification limits of quality indicators such as ball shear byanalyzing SPC Data and plotting into JMP Software to calculate suitable limitsobeying the 6 sigma rule.•Perform recipe handover with Production Process Engineer in order to validateprocess robustness by running bigger lot quantity.•Perform training and briefing to Process Technicians during recipe hand overon changes and updated process specification.•Liaise with machine suppliers in order to have deep knowledge and applicationon features related to machine’s advance parameter or setting.•Documented wirebond drawings, process specifications, PFMEA, and relevantinformation before hand over new products for mass production.

•Identify major contributors towards quality issues.•Perform several investigation to find the actual root causes of quality issuethrough root analysis tools.•Lead the team to implement long term and short term project improvementsthrough problem solving approach such as 8D and DMAIC.•Documented new controls or procedures and train machine owners.•Support NPI Engineer team by performing root cause analysis during linestressing/monitoring lots, verify the defined specification limits vs actual SPCperformance during mass running to identify process drift occurrence.•Perform recipe upload to Recipe Management System (RMS) for the newrelease product/ parameter, do frequent checking on recipe availability andclean up the outdated recipe stored in the server.
