ROLE. Accountable for disaster management during avalanches/ natural disaster and ensuring effective relief operations by collaborating with Government / USAID / Non-Governmental organizations. Ensure provision of rapid medical assistance to injured / sick soldiers deployed in the high altitude areas. Liaison with Expats, mountains’ expedition teams, for their physical security and evacuation, in case of emergency. Responsible for management of Garrison Mess in Skardu/ construction of guest rooms in Shangrilla.

ROLE. Responsible for providing operational leadership to 324 soldiers during anti-terrorist operations by Pakistan security forces as part of Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) in Operation Zone along Pakistan-Afghanistan Border. Accountable for tactical / operational decision making on the issues related to terrorism prevention, physical security of personnel, weapons/ equipment, critical strategic / operational assets and sensitive military installations located in highly volatile conflict zone. Responsible for enforcement of Anti-Illicit Trade (AIT) and Anti Human / Drugs Trafficking activities along Pakistan-Afghanistan Border. Act as focal person for liaison with International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Pakistan. Provide operational advice and substantive reviews of tactical operations. Provide security cover to NATO convoys from Peshawar to Thorkham Border with Afghanistan.
