• Personal and Business (Self-employment) Tax Returns submission to CRA,• Advise RRSP, RESP and other tax savings schemes to the clients and• Issuance of tax refunds in cash on the basis of tax returns of the client(s).

The basic job responsibilities included:• To supervise and monitor the General Ledger, Closing entries, cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and petty cash,• To ensure that all the financial transactions reported contain the accurate supporting information,• To monitor the bank reconciliation, investment accounts and credit cards etc., and• To oversee the bookkeeping functions including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

The job responsibilities included the following but not limited to:-• To develop daily report of cash position, forecasting and weekly report of receipts and disbursements,• To develop report with respect to the management of international credit lines, letters of credit and letters of guarantees,• To supervise and manage all forex cash balances with the correspondents in an efficient manner,• To supervise, maintain and maintain and update signatories with the correspondents,• To assist in managing the short term investments with interest recording and reporting,• Maintain correct estimate of cash/CP balances. To assure proper payments processing and back-office operations i.e., treasury, L/Cs, L/Gs and Cash),• To assure stream operations with respect to controlling and administration of the Nostro / Vostro Accounts and correspondent banking relationships,• To control and store all relevant transaction data and the documentation of transactions properly,• To support the hierarchy in the overall management process and corporate decision making,• To develop and manage the proficient and utmost productive team members for smooth and flawless operations,• To evolve the betterment in ongoing internal process development and improvement• Issuance of letter of credit(s) and Letters of Guarantee (s) under the institutional guidelines and parameters in addition to the framework specified by the federal governing bank i.e., State Bank of Pakistan.• To do the financial appraisal of project under the various lines of credits available under the World Bank, IDA Credit, IDB, USAID and other creditors.• To manage the syndication of financial institutions to mitigate the risk involved in large scale project financing.• To draft legal documents with respect to the project financing, buy back agreement, Purchase Price Agreement, Liens and Holds on Capital and Assets in terms of Project Financing.
