As a Professor of Microbiology and Dean, I serve the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. For over twenty years, I have been in charge of and involved in outreach campaigns, research, undergraduate and graduate education, and administrative tasks.My primary area of mission is agriculture sector development through livestock productivity enhancement by providing quality education, research/diagnosis of various emerging infectious and zoonotic diseases, development of vaccines and vaccination strategies for efficient control of emerging infectious diseases in poultry and livestock, and community service through shared learning.
