Import• Initiate L/C from bank and get its approval. Assure to make L/C as per supply order and proceed with necessary amendments.• Coordinate with shipping line for import of items by sea or by air.• Preparation of shipping documents for custom.• Obtain B/L and related documentation from the shipping line.• Keep track for the shipments by sea or by air for timely clearance.• Bank documents preparation for negotiation & submit in bank.• Documents arrangement for customers through E-Mail or Fax.• All shipments tracking from shipping line.• Arrangement of Insurance from reputable insurance cos. for L/C.• Shipping documents submission to clearing agent for Import shipment clearance.• Obtain custom duty estimate through clearing agent and forward to account department.• Ensure timely payment of duties to custom authorities to avoid any demurrages.• Import Original documents dispatch to clearing agent for submission to custom department.• Record maintenance of Import Sales contract according to shipments.• Coordinate with transporter for import shipment till arrival of shipment at warehouse.• Forwarding import shipment details to concerned departments.• Report upper management on the status of import activities.Export• Preparation and submission of invoices to foreign clients for software related services.• Proceed with banks for receipt of export proceeds.• Keep record of PRCs received from bank.• Report monthly exports to State Bank of Pakistan.• Keep active membership with PSEB for software export.
