Team Leadership and Management:*Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of collection specialists, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and equipped to achieve departmental goals.*Set performance targets, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team productivity and efficiency.*Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of collection specialists.Collections Strategy:*Formulate and execute collection strategies and initiatives to optimize the recovery of outstanding payments from customers.*Analyze and segment delinquent accounts based on various parameters such as payment history, creditworthiness, and customer behavior.*Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and Customer Service, to identify and address root causes of payment delays and implement preventive measures.Relationship Management:*Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, effectively communicating the importance of timely payment and negotiating repayment plans when necessary.*Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints related to collections, resolving issues promptly and ensuring high customer satisfaction.*Collaborate with sales teams to address potential payment issues and provide insights on customer creditworthiness.Reporting and Analysis:*Generate regular reports on collection performance, including key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.*Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks related to delinquent accounts, enabling proactive action and mitigation.Compliance and Legal Knowledge:*Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and legal requirements pertaining to debt collection practices in the telecom industry.*Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, maintaining a high standard of ethics and professionalism.
