Technical Responsibility:• Monitoring, Calibration and first-level maintenance of X-ray Scanner of SMITHS Detection (HS7555-is, HS100100T2-is, HS130100T, HS180180 ,HS180180-2is, HS6040-2is) baggage/luggage scanners.• Monitoring , Calibration and first-level maintenance of X-ray Scanner of Astrophysics (XIS100XDX , XIS-6040NM) baggage/luggage scanners.• Monitoring , Calibration and first-level maintenance metal detectors (PMD2).• Supervision and maintenance of Wilcox Mark20A ILS for localizer and glide-path and responsible for Flight Calibration of ILS.• Perform Ground checks for ILS and DVOR.• Routine checks and monitoring of DVOR/DME system to declare serviceability to ATC’s. • Configuring and troubleshooting SCHMID VCCS (ICS 200/60) communication system.• Performing the backup of AFTN, VCCS, SKYRING systems, RDPS OpenSuse 10.3v Linux, FDPS OpenSuse 10.3v Linux using Norton ghost and Acronis True Image 2014.• Maintaining and monitoring of RDPS (Radar Display Processing System), FDPS (Flight Data Processing System) • Monitoring and maintenance of Jotron Transmitters and Receivers for high-range VHF communication. Understanding of dedicated airport frequency channels for highly sensitive and highly critical communication for daily operation of air traffic controllers.• Monitoring and maintenance of ICOM station Radios and hand held Radios.• Responsible for maintaining the radar maps and amending the changes to the maps as per the ATC’s request and Impounding of Audio and video recording as per ATC requirements.• Performing friction tests on the Runway 34 & 16 using T10 ASFT Friction Tester.• Monitoring , Calibration and maintenance of RVR , Wind Sensors , Light Sensor , Thunderstorm Sensor , Rain Gauge , Pressure Sensor.
