Resident Engineer
Current•A proactive team leader for Overall project supervision, contract administration and construction management, and the process of work (completion, handing over, and closing out.• Process of prequalification and approvals for organizations, structures, and personnel of contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.• Review and recommend planning and finalization of the program of work.• Monitoring and taking necessary actions to achieve agreed milestones in the given time frame.• Close follow-up and needful arrangements related to the project's critical path management.• Review and approval of Project Quality plans, Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans, Material, shop drawings, As-Built drawings, etc.• Lead point of contact, and coordination of consultants in all disciplines both within the project and of the interface with adjoining projects. Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals, Authorities, vendors and subcontractors, etc.• Establishing quality control standards and performance benchmarks for project evaluation.• Process of payments, claims, and variations evaluation.• Review, approve and issue construction information as required and coordinate disciplines & resolve issues in a timely manner.• Liaison with relevant stakeholders/site staff ensuring all parties are kept informed of all relevant matters in relation to the project.• Providing technical advice to the Client and the Engineer with respect to the assigned work on the project.• Checking project deliverables for which the staff is responsible, including drawings, reports, and coordination.• Quality Assurance documentation and registers in relation to the assigned work on the project and ensure thorough review & prompt exchange of correspondence, RFI's, and approvals.• Convene and chair regular site meetings.• Generally review, monitor, and report construction progress.• Provide final approval of the completed works and arrange Handover.
