As a Construction Manager I am responsible for the supervision of construction activities for Tire Manufacturing Factory at Gharo. The aim of the project is to complete it within time, cost and scope where HSE and Quality are on top of the list. (BTPL) and BYCO CHEMICALS PAKISTAN LTD (BCPL), LPG VILLAGE.Responsibilities: • Checking design of misc. equipment foundations and steel structure drawings.• Construction supervision of Refinery Equipment Foundations e.g., Furnace Foundations, Pump Foundations, Exchanger Foundations, Flare Foundation, Tower Foundation.• Concrete Structures including Pipe Racks, Valve Pit, RC-Pit, Concrete Pavement (C.C. / R.C.C.). Project: RAS LAFFAN OLEFIN PROJECT (SP-2 / 8002) QATARResponsibilities:• Supervision of various civil construction activities e.g.: Miscellaneous Equipment Foundations e.g., Compressor Foundations, Pump Foundations, Exchanger Foundations, Concrete Pipe Racks, Vessel Foundations, Concrete Structures, Underground Pipe line Network, Plant Sewerage System, catch basin, Pulling Pits, Cable Duct Bank, Valve Pit, Pre-cast Columns & Beams, Concrete Pavement (C.C. / R.C.C.), Underground Services, Storm Water Drain, Fire Proofing and Grouting of equipment foundations (Epoxy/Non shrink) and construction of miscellaneous buildings. • Managing construction activities as per schedule agreed b/w Descon and Technip• Attending weekly meetings with Technip.• Lead the team and coordination with Area Planners/Area Engineers and assign them daily task and provide technical assistance. • Arrangement of construction material • Approval of method statements • Maintain Quality of work as per Quality Plan and record keeping.• Highlight discrepancy in drawing / design by raising Technical Queries to client and resolve issues.• Progress monitoring and reporting to management• Implementing HSE & S policies strictly to minimize accidents at site.
