I work closely with our design & technical team to develop detailed drawings, specifications, material selections and to coordinate with Main, MEP and other contractors that align perfectly with the project's objectives. Responsibility of developing the shop drawing in line with BOQ, specification & ID drawing.Receiving the job handing over from the project / Estimation dept. & maintaining the log register with documents provided.Receiving the Shop drawing schedule provided by the project engineer. Visiting the site to take the actual information & details, if the job based on the mock-up or sample.Raising Request For Information (RFI).Monitoring the variation & cost implication works, mentioning the same on the drawing or intimating to the Project Manager.Submitting the shop drawing with quality assurance as per the shop drawing schedule.Updating of the shop drawing & control register schedule.Coordination for the shop drawing approval with project engineers & consultants.Issuing of the approved drawings on time to production as well site.Coordinating with project engineer & subcontractor for the shop drawing related to the outsourced works (ex. MEP, glass.).Request as built information to project engineer to prepare the as built drawing.Based on the site as built information the drawing will be prepared & send it to site for the final checking.Preparation of all the related project close-out documents.
