•Provide project leadership during all engineering projects.•Perform feasibility study of the project and determine its benefits and payback period.•Develop project charter, collect requirements from stakeholders and prepare scope statement.•Generate capital expenditure for approval of projects.•Create WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for planning of activities.•Prepare Gantt chart of the project using scheduling software.•Prepare bill of materials and bill of quantities for activities wise costing.•Ensure timely arrival of required material by coordination with procurement department.•Checking quality of the material procured for projects.•Selection of competitive contractors, price negotiations and generate service orders accordingly.•Coordination among civil, mechanical and electrical contractors on daily basis to meet the requirements and resolve conflicts.•To make sure that the project is executed as per the approved drawings and specifications.•Constant monitoring and control of the Project’s progress both financially and operationally. •To ensure strict compliance of HSE at sites.•Commissioning of the project after its completion.

In-charge of annealing and rewinding operations including production, projects, quality control and material management, leading a team of 25 personnel. Responsibilities:Projects: Supervised erection and commissioning of EBNER Batch Annealing plant including piping work and gas fired furnaces to anneal steel strip coils in straight hydrogen atmosphere.• Manpower controlling and distributing the work on site.• To supervise the piping and ducting work and ensure it is done as per standards.• Ensure project work is being done as per HSE guidelines.• Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.Operations:• To plan and manage shift operations effectively to achieve daily and monthly Production targets.• To ensure implementation of production plan and change it in exceptional circumstances keeping the productivity in mind.• To control plant maintenance to ensure plant is always kept operational and is maintained during scheduled production downtime.• To monitor the quality results of product and take measures to improve process parameters in order to obtain the desired mechanical properties and quality of material.• To prepare yearly budget of plant.• To prepare daily weekly and monthly production and downtime reports.• To ensure Physical Inventory and Material resource management and subsequent usage of ORACLE E-business suite.• To make arrangements for the dispatch of finished product on first in first out basis.• To formulate operating rules, procedures and provided trainings and guidance to staff.
