- I am responsible for managing the erection processes in the Sulphur refinery unit area (SRU), and what makes it easy for me to do that is putting an accurate control system for the area by creating excel control sheets through combining different excel sheets from the project system, which gives me all information I need about each welding joint and spool in the area, beginning from its material issuing status, going through fabrication, release, painting and ending with erection status for spools and welding and fit-up date for welding joints, adding to it spool coordination.- I also made the same thing for supports erection and welding processes, through an excel control sheet containing the supports' traveling history from fabrication through painting to erection and welding, added to it supports' coordination and each relating spool. - For the work's activity in the office, I define the work front we will work on through studying the painted spool and knowing its status for electability and its welding joints' status for weldability.- also, I define the work front for supports' erection and welding processes, through studying painted supports and request supports I'll need for urgent piping erection as a priority and electable supports either on vessels, tanks, steel structures or on ground basis. - after that I trained my colleagues to do the same study and how to use the system to make it easily, also I direct them and examine their work to make sure that all is going according to the system.- For the work's activity in the site, I hand out the required production needed through the week to the supervisors and following up welding and erection processes, studying the lifting process for large spools with the supervisors and prepare all things to make it a success, make required as-builts for any modification or cutting out.
