With over 17 years of experience in finance and accounting, I am currently the Associate Director of Finance for Europe at Sonoco, a global provider of consumer and industrial packaging solutions. In this role, I oversee the financial operations, reporting, and compliance for 14 European countries, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and values. Previously, I was the UK Financial Controller and Head of UK SSC at Sonoco, where I managed the financial closing, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes, as well as the implementation of a new ERP system. I also led the UK Shared Service Center, which provides accounting, payroll, tax, and treasury services to the UK and Ireland businesses. Before joining Sonoco, I was the Financial Controller at THG, a global e-commerce company, where I supported the financial planning and reporting for the beauty division. I have a strong background in management accounting, financial accounting, and balance sheet review, and I hold the ACCA qualification.
