EVA-BHN was a DFID funded program for supporting citizens in raising voice and influencing policies for improved service delivery from health facilities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab provinces. As a provincial lead for Advocacy and Accountability component I had the follow tasks to handle:▪ Lobbying with policy makers including civil bureaucracy and political leadership at provincial level for health sector reform towards including citizen demands in making decisions▪ Providing technical assistance to the health department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in developing policy briefs and technical concept notes▪ Assisted citizen forums at provincial and district level to strategize their policy asks and find appropriate channels for to communicate these asks to the forums making policy decisions. ▪ Engaging with media for making health as an agenda for journalists and media outlets ▪ Organizing key events where policy makers and citizen representatives could candidly discuss issues related to health service delivery from hospitals.

Azm-e-Paksitan program was the brand name of USAID-OTI funded project for supporting diverse actors in Pakistan for countering violent extremism and promoting peace and tolerance in Pakistan. As Deputy Chief of Party I led program and ops of the PERSI program in Punjab Province. In this position I had the following achievements: ▪ Led Program Development Officers to identify innovative and effective strategies for CVE interventions in the complex situation of South Punjab ▪ Managed implementation of an elaborate process of identification, development, award and implementation of grants. Managed activity development process, and supervised 80+ awards of grants. ▪ Developed effective working relationship with program's key stakeholders including government officials, community leaders and Civil Society Actors ▪ Despite challenging political security situations, and against many bureaucratic hurdles managed to launch and implement 80 plus grants in the districts of South Punjab. ▪ Effectively managed quick pace grants cycle as per an elaborate activity programming criteria. ▪ Leading team of 30+ persons; and has managed a grant funds of USD 7.8 million till date since inception of the prgoram. ▪ Directly supervising Security Coordinator; Operations Manager; Procurement Manager; and Admin Manager.

Under DFID funded Sub-national Governance Prgramme (SNG), the District Delivery Challenge Fund (DDCF) was a GBP 2.7 million fund designed to identify and scale new ways of delivering services, especially to marginalized people, based on the citizens' needs in select district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. As a Challenge Fund (CF) Manager I was responsible for: ▪ Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with the Provincial Working Group (PWG) and providing advocacy on the purpose and outputs of the SNG CF amongst key stakeholders. Showing visible leadership at key SNG CF communications events▪ Identifying capacity needs of the grantee organizations and providing capacity building support in developing operational and programmatic systems for the effective implementation of the awards▪ Preparing grant contracts; amendments; notifications and clarifications as required.▪ Quality assurance of the grant interventions▪ Identifying and delivering grant funded projects▪ Actively working with the government counterparts and SNG team to incorporate their inputs to the project design;▪ Conducting due diligence and leading negotiations with potential grantee, reviewing and signing off grant application documentation. ▪ Monitoring of grant funded projects. The Pakistan Enhanced Democratic Accountability and Civil Engagement was a Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) cross-sector project designed to bring together a wide variety of stakeholders including those responsible for governance, access to justice, and provision of security to ensure that Pakistani citizen rights and the democratic processes are strengthened at provincial and local levels. As Governance and Rule of Law Expert I • Developed Theory of Change for the programmatic interventions• Developed grants award manual • Wrote guidelines to identify, select and manage a portfolio of interventions through implementing partners • Devised Quality Management tools for the programme interventions• Designed programme M&E structure and Logframe• Lead and designed EDACE’s approach to delivering citizen engagement interventions and increased government responsiveness through state institutions capacity building at provincial and district level. • Identified, engaged and selected suitable implementing partners for citizen engagement and state institutions capacity building outputs across focus districts. • Supported selected partners to implement interventions to deliver sustainably increased citizen engagement in civic life and increased district -level responsiveness to communities. • Developed inception report, and project implementation plan• Designed and provided capacity building and technical assistance inputs to selected organisations • In collaboration with the Fund’s M&E Consultant, established a baseline for citizen engagement activities. • Contributed to regular updates to the contextual analysis processes. • Wrote and submitted high quality reports to the donors on interventions concepts, policies, progress and planning.

GJTMAP was a UNDP funded project for the establishment and strengthening of community based alternative dispute resolution mechanism at the Union Council level for the redress of the gender based conflicts and violence. FSSP was a USAID/OTI funded project, under the Pakistan Transition Initiative, and is implemented by Creative Associates International Inc. FSSP was entrusted with the task to provide rapid response to the demands of the people belonging to the areas affected by the militancy related violence. Its core activity was to carry out projects of infrastructure rehabilitation and development so as to facilitate the confidence building among the communities and the government. I headed the project's operations at the agency level, and had the following responsibilities:• Community Mobilization for identification of grants of general interest and benefit.• Coordination with the Political Administration for preparation and implementation of grants.• Developing Grants Ideas and writing project proposals.• Implementation of grants involving Clean Drinking Water Supply, Sanitation, Roads, Flood Protection, Irrigation, Rehabilitation of Schools and Hospital, Youth Engagement, Conflict Mitigation through Media, and Strengthening the government offices. • Monitoring and supervision of the implementation of grants.• Managing Cash for Work grants in the conflict affected communities. • Procuring and distribution of non-food items among the conflict affected communities.• HRM, General Administration.

PPHI was a public sector development organization, dedicated to the rehabilitation and revitalization of the First Level Health Facilities all around the country. PPHI worked for the improvement of the physical infrastructure of FLHFs, community mobilization for health and hygiene awareness, systemic readjustment of the health institutions enabling them to become responsive to the needs of the community, and enhanced coordination between the preventive and curative initiatives of the health department at the gross root level. I headed the district level operations of the project. I was responsible for:• Planning of the primary healthcare activities in the basic health units.• Developing close liaison with district government’s line departments for the improved delivery of various primary healthcare services like vaccination, epidemic control etc.• Developing monitoring strategies and ensuring their methodical implementation.• Spearhead social mobilization campaigns and laying down detailed strategies for community support to the basic health units.• Planning and implementation of the Rehabilitation of the Primary Healthcare Infrastructure. • Procurement of medicines and equipments. • HRM, Finance ad General administration.
