Financial Activities:• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on professional accounting standards to manage financial recordkeeping.• Reconcile accounts and reviewed expense data, equity and assets.• Document cash, credit, fixed assets, accrued expenses, and line of credit transactions.• Complete daily cash functions like account tracking, monitor petty cash, payroll and wage allocations, budgeting, cash and bank reconciliations.• Use accounting software for VAT filing and prepare consolidated financial reports.• Evaluate and improve financial records, accounts receivables and accounts payables to make important business decisions.• Handle day-to-day accounting processes and follow up with vendors for any discrepancies to drive financial accuracy.• Preserve integrity of general ledger and chart of accounts.• Record sales and generate any refunds from the bank for the credit card customers.• Generate consignment sales invoices as per sales report received monthly from partner stores in UAE & Qatar.• Track online sales and returns from the e-commerce platform. • Maintain Statement of Accounts, cash flow balances and postdated cheques.• Share monthly sales reports to the respective malls management of all our outlets. • Compute monthly and daily incentives for the sales staff for payroll processing.• Prepare payroll & update WPS file accordingly.Logistical Services:• Request sea/air freight quotes from shipping companies.• Assign forwarding agent, send original invoices, documents for custom declaration.• Send Qatar shipment under DTP/DTU and related customs, duties and exit certificate.• After shipment arrival, collaborate with warehouse team.• Compute landed costs & prepare purchase order in system.• Manage auto order for inventory replenishment to all stores.• Maintain record for damage & return inventory, in order to claim from vendor for future shipments.• Arrange pickup & deliveries for operating inventory in UAE, Qatar and KSA.
