• Supervises and coordinates activities of operators engaged in mixing resins, colour pigments and additives for use in extrusion machines items.• Ensure that all raw materials batches are combining in proper sequence and sign off that each ingredient has been added and processed for the correct amount of tome as outlined in mixing system (Formula sheet).• Review production records for each extrusion machine to determine amount of dry blend mixture used and whether amount available is sufficient to fill existing orders and notifies extruder foreman of findings. throughout the shifts.• Ensure accurate parameters settings for mixers units.• Notify the maintenance of equipment’s problems.• Maintain inventory of materials.• Handle raw materials required for compound preparation.• Prepares daily mixing report. • Send daily consumed raw materials issue request to store dept.• Prepares monthly material utilization and stock position report.• Monitor the raw material required and its uninterrupted flow.• Maintain ISO / QAMS documents relating to mixing and debagging section commitments.• Ensure housekeeping and safety in the mixing and debagging area.

• To maintain / repair all plastic pipe extrusion systems / equipment.• To maintain / repair processed water lines, compressed air and hydraulic systems.• To repair centrifugal pumps and vacuum pumps.• To repair hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. • To maintain company vehicles and carryout scheduled maintenance.• Carryout Electric Arc Welding and Gas Cutting.• To carryout in-house fabrication work to modify /repair / maintain plant equipment.• To maintain ISO / QAMS documents relating to mechanical maintenance commitments.
