Advised Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and senior officials in HM Treasury on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on State aid/subsidy control, public law, public finance, financial services regulation, and government interventions.

Acted for the CMA in high-profile litigation matters before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and undertook a wide range of other policy and advisory work.

As a litigation lawyer in the General Public Law and Planning team, represented government clients in proceedings before the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
